Who We Are

Hi, and welcome to Mind State! We passionately serve students of all backgrounds and academic abilities, pre-K through 12th grade! Our unique approach emphasizes the importance of a positive state of mind as the foundation for all academic success. At Mind State, we believe that a confident, motivated learner is a successful learner for life.

What We Do

We teach students how to learn. At Mind State, we understand that educators are mentors. Our team works closely with students to get to know them on a personal level because we recognize that true academic performance and success start with the right mindset. Individualized support is key, which is why we create a customized game plan for each and every student we encounter. Our team provides tutoring year-round in all high school subjects, SAT/ACT test prep, and more, as well as guidance in navigating the college applications process. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Honors and AP English, and AP US History are just a few of our specialties.

We are invested in each student’s success. For us, tutoring is personal. We are deeply committed to fostering a positive mindset that leads to long-term academic success, building lasting confidence, and bringing out the best in every student. When we hear that a student has moved up from C’s to A’s, or that reading has become a joy instead of a chore, we know that our services are changing lives. All of us at Mind State are proud of the many students who have passed through our program, and we look forward to welcoming new students who join our team for the very first time this upcoming year.

I signed my daughter up for Tutoring Club in June. Since then she has progressed from Math on a 6th-grade level to an 8th-grade level. I love the Tutoring Club because it allows students to learn at their own pace. This learning style is a lot like the school my daughter attends (Montessori). I highly recommend the Tutoring club because of their professionalism, teaching style, and attention to detail.

The staff at the Tutoring Club go above and beyond to provide quality service. They understand the need of the community. Our children fell drastically behind during the pandemic, but thanks to the Tutoring club they are thriving!
